West Ham held Arsenal to a goalless draw at home last night. In the second London Derby at the London Stadium in the span of a few days, West Ham were resilient as they looked to build on their shock win over Chelsea last weekend.
After scoring the winner against Chelsea, Marko Arnautovic almost emulated his feat again when he headed the ball in the 15th minute only to be ruled offside.
The Austrian seems to be enjoying playing under new manager David Moyes as was evident by his charisma and tenacity against the Gunners.
In one instance that caught fans’ eyes, the former Stoke City man pounced on a ball on the right wing and went on a Ronaldo-esque run while completely destroying Arsenal duo Monreal and Maitland-Niles in the process.
The 28-year-old hasn’t really taken off for the Hammers since his arrival, but his performances in the last couple of games could be an indication of a change in fortunes.
