Manchester City made history on Saturday as the league leaders demolished Tottenham 4-1 to set a new Premier League record of 16 wins on the trot.
Pep’s side are now considered favorites to be crowned England’s champions with some rival managers already admitting defeat in the title race.
Besides the record breaking win, Kyle Walker’s return to face his former employers was also seen as a highlight of the fixture on Saturday.
The full-back was a hugely popular figure in North London and Spurs fans were heartbroken to see him leave the club last summer.
While Walker might not have any regrets about joining Pep’s all conquering side, he stuck to his roots choosing not to join his teammates as they were merrily celebrating a goal against Pochettino’s men at the Etihad.
A photo which manages to capture the brilliant moment has been doing rounds online which shows Walker walk away as the rest of the Citizens bundle together celebrating the goal.
Spurs fans took notice of the incident and applauded Walker for his show of respect with many fans coming out in the open to say their appreciation of the full-back’s class act on Twitter.
