(Video) Leeds fans loved this bit of work-rate from Ezgjan Alioski during the win against Norwich

Leeds United maintained their good run of form in the Championship as they secured a solid 1-0 victory over the Canaries in front of a packed crowd at Elland Road on Saturday.

Swedish defender Pontus Jansson’s header in the 41st minute proved to be the difference between the two sides with the victory taking Leeds to within touching distance of the play-off spots.

The home crowd was delighted to see their side come in and put on another strong showing as they held off an enterprising young Norwich side who came agonisingly close to scoring themselves only to be denied by the crossbar just after the break.

Those in attendance were especially delighted with new boy Ezgjan Alioski, as the winger put in another gritty performance to help United secure all three points.

The Macedonian international well known for his work-rate stayed true to his reputation as he ran the length of the field to snuff out a dangerous looking Norwich counter immediately following a United Corner.

Videos of the lung busting chase from the wide-man has been shared all over Twitter by enthused Leeds fans who have been wooed over by the 26-year-old’s resilient attitude since moving to Elland road last summer.
