FootyHeadlines is at it again with Chelsea the latest side to have their kit leaked ahead of schedule by the reliable website.
Antonio Conte’s men have been off the boil so far in the league with the Italian tactician already admitting defeat in their title defense in a recent presser despite being only midway through the season.
With the current season being a disappointment so far, the leaked design might give blues fans another reason to get excited for the 2018-19 campaign.
According to the popular website, the home jersey for the upcoming season might surprise a few with the predominantly blue kit set to feature tapered dashes of red and white for the first time.
The strip is set to be based on Nike’s infamous Vapor template and is reported to feature a lighter shade than previous kits with a knitted pattern along the sleeves and on both sides of the torso.
The kit, which is only the second edition to be released by Nike after taking over from Adidas last summer, is expected to have a unique look unlike anything the Blues have shown up in the past.
Although it is yet unclear as to how fans will take to the new kit, Nike will be expecting a positive response from fans who were disappointed with the lack of variation in this year’s kit and will reportedly push on with the pre-season release of the kit.
