(Image) Liverpool old boy tweeted, deleted & tweeted again to mock Man Utd last night

Lucas Leiva might have swapped Liverpool for Lazio in the summer but his recent antics on Twitter suggests that he’s still very much a Red at heart.

The diminutive midfielder was a cult hero at Anfield during his decade long stint at the club and seems to be bent on endearing himself even more to the Reds faithful.

Liverpool fans were already having a field day mocking their arch rivals after United suffered a shock defeat at the hands of minnows Bristol City in the Carbacao cup yesterday before Lucas decided to pitch in.

The Brazilian joined in on the fun by brutally trolling United on Twitter, encouraging the Bristol players to keep going following their stoppage time winner.

He then deleted the post only to repost another tweet with his trademark “unluckyyyyyy” added at the end.

The tweet has gone viral among Reds supporters who have shared it on various social platforms to ensure that their rivals will not forget the embarrassing result anytime soon.
