Newcastle United picked up their first win since October as they beat a resurgent West Ham United at the London Stadium on Saturday.



Newcastle had their resilient defence to thank for their first victory in 10 league games and one man in particular who shone for the Magpies was centre-half Jamaal Lascelles.

The 24-year-old has gone through a meteoric rise in fortunes in no time, being named captain at Newcastle United and leading the team to the Championship title & promotion to the Premier League last season.

Newcastle fans particularly loved this passage of play when he made 3 crucial blocks in a matter of ten seconds to almost single-handedly keep a West Ham attack at bay.
