Although he didn’t get his name on the scoresheet, Eden Hazard spent another afternoon tormenting defences in the English Top flight as he picked up yet another Man of the Match award for his industrious performance in the Blues’ 2-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion.
Having doubled their lead on the hour mark, the Blues could have very well added a 3rd five minutes later through a blinding counter attack courtesy some orgasmic link up play between Hazard and Kante.
Fabregas headed away a Brighton corner which fell to Hazard who deftly flicked into N’Golo Kante’s path. While Hazard got onto his bike and flew down the left wing, the otherwise defensive Kante, made a mouth watering move, bulldozing past Brighton players, leaving Beram Kayal on the floor in a dribbling manoeuvre.
Kante then teed up Hazard for a shot on goal that was narrowly kept out by Lewis Dunk’s scrappy goal line clearance.
