(Video) Trent Alexander-Arnold with one of the passes of the season during Swansea win

Academy graduate blossoming into the next Stevie G?

Liverpool smashed 5 past rock-bottom Swansea to maintain their 4th position in the Barclays Premier League heading into 2018. Trent Alexander-Arnold made the playing eleven for Liverpool on the right hand of their defense and ended the night with a memorable goal in front of the Kop.

One moment in the game exemplified his growing stature under Jurgen Klopp as the youngster pinged a sumptuous Gerrard-esque cross-field pass towards Roberto Firmino. The vision to spot the run and execute a perfectly timed through ball shows why the local lad is heralded as a special prospect.

His crossing and dead ball ability are a refreshing sight in a quick passing set-up at Liverpool, particularly against teams that sit back and going by his performance against the Swans, expect a big 2018 for the versatile right-back.
