A deceptive Pablo Hernandez free-kick and a cool finish from Kemar Roofe gave Leeds 3 crucial away points against a spirited Burton side as the Whites continued their impressive streak.
The result moved the Peacocks to within 5 points of the automatic promotion places while Burton lost another chance to move out of the foot of the championship table.
The hosts were left ruing not being more clinical after the break as they missed a flurry of second half chances to add to their first half goal.
Leeds finally managed to get level at the hour mark through a well worked free-kick routine straight out of the training ground which left the entire Burton defense dumbstruck.
Stephen Bywater looked desperate as he looked to disrupt the brilliant routine and let his frustrations get the better of him when he pulled down Eunan O’Kane’s shorts as he looked to ruffle the Leeds players in any way he can.
The joke ended badly for the keeper, as the Burton man not only got booked for his antics and but also had to watch Pablo Hernandez’ curler hit the back of his net to get the Whites on level terms.
