Arsenal kept their hopes of a top four finish alive with a 3-2 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Thursday. It was a hard earned victory for the Gunners but it put them 4 points behind fourth placed Liverpool wiyh a game in hand.
In Arsene Wenger’s 810th game as Arsenal manager, Sanchez, Ozil and Wilshere showed bursts of brilliance at times, solidifying their importance in the team.
One such moment came in the dying moments of the match, when Mesut Ozil provided a sensational first touch that gave no chance to Palace midfielder Bakary Sako to intercept the ball.
The German was mesmerizing as he got hold of the ball just outside the box and flicked it over Sako’s head to lob it to Wilshere with a perfectly executed pass.
