(Video) Absolute limbs in the away end after Ayoze Perez’s match-winning goal v Stoke City

Ayoze Perez finished off a brilliant counter attack to ease the anxiety at Tyneside and move Newcastle to 4 points clear of the drop zone on Monday.

The Geordies were deserved winners after dominating Mark Hughes’ Stoke side for most parts of the game and now have some much needed breathing space in the relegation battle before they host Swansea City next week.

The Spaniard combined brilliantly with new boy Jacob Murphy who delivered an inch-perfect cross for the striker after exploiting the space down the right wing to condemn Stoke to their 6th loss in 10 games.

The 73rd minute goal sent the traveling contingent into a frenzy with cameras managing to capture the crazy scenes that unfolded in the away section following the well taken goal.

Toons fans will be certainly hoping for more of the same from Rafa Benitez’s men as they look to maintain their recent form and keep themselves out of relegation trouble prior to what looks like an impending takeover.
