(Video) Sumptuous last-ditch tackle from Liam Cooper against Nottingham Forest

Manager-less Nottingham Forest held off a resurgent Leeds side to a goalless draw which slightly dented the Peacocks’ play-off chances.

Both sides were guilty of not being clinical at Elland Road although the host were in control for large sections of the match with Pontus Jansson coming closest to breaking the deadlock with his goal-bound header being desperately cleared off the line.

Caretaker Gary Brazil could have gone home with all three points however had it not been for a superb last-ditch tackle by Leeds skipper Liam Cooper.

Leeds fans had their hearts in their mouths when Matty Cash played Ben Brereton through on goal but the defender reacted just in time with a perfect sliding challenge to nullify the attack.

The tackle was rightfully met with thunderous applause as the home fans breathed a collective sigh of relief. Check out the video below –
