Theo Walcott joined Everton in a deal worth more than £20 million after finally deciding to part ways with Arsene Wenger after 12 long years at Arsenal.
The forward was signed by the Frenchman when he was only 16 and the former Saints man has notched up more than 100 goals for the club since.
Given his popularity in the dressing room it was no surprise to see present and former Gunners come out to post their farewell messages for the pacy winger on social media.
While of all the messages Walcott received following his move to Merseyside were appreciated by Gooners, perhaps Lukas Podolski’s message will be deemed the pick of the lot by the red side of London.
The German couldn’t resist a dig at Spurs as he posted a photo with Walcott by saying how he loved celebrating goals against the Lilywhites with the Englishman.
The cheeky dig is set to go down well with the Arsenal support and should endear the former striker to Arsenal supporters even more.
