(Video) Journo gets taken down by the press officer after repeatedly asking Pochettino about Madrid job

“I am happy at Tottenham Hotspur”. This was Mauricio Pochettino’s response when asked about the rumours linking him with the Real Madrid job during his presser for Manchester United game.

This should have been the end of conversation on the topic but a journalist kept pressing the Spurs boss hard for any kind of juicy details and it needed an interference from the press officer sat beside Poch to get things moving along.

The press officer  had to put his foot down and he did so rather brilliantly we reckon.

Give that man a pay-rise, check out the footage of the incident below –

  1. “Can you just answer this on behalf of all Tottenham fans… What presumptuous question-wording, what cheek! Who elected or appointed this off-camera character as the representative of any Spurs fans never mind of all of us? But it’s so typical a mindset of some in the football media — not news-reporting, nothing concrete, but mainly speculation, kite-flying and touting the hypothetical.
