Social media is certainly not one of the best places to be if your team is on a bad run of form and it is certainly the case with Leeds United right now.
The Whites have suffered an absolutely horrendous start to 2018 with injuries and suspensions taking a massive toll on Thomas Christiansen’s side. And things got worse after the 4-1 defeat against Cardiff City yesterday.
Not inspiring at all this pic ..#socialmedia comes first by the looks. Doesn’t look like a dressing room that’s full of spirit and fight 🤔 to me? Come on #lufc sort it out! @andrearadri @NoelDavidWhelan @APOPEY @ianharte23 @LiamCooper__ @PJansson5 @Thomkirwin pic.twitter.com/inegl6f5iF

The fans online can be brutal after a loss and that’s exactly what happened when a photo of the Leeds squad immersed in their phones before the game circulated on Twitter.
The picture went viral and it need clarification from club captain Liam Cooper to put things in perspective. Check out Cooper’s tweet below –
Understand the frustration but photo taken from someone on a tour at 11.15am.We check our phones before we go into pre-match at 11:30.. All phones are banned from 13:30.. Don't believe other individuals perception Karl, We win the game this picture is never seen.. You know that. https://t.co/3LkMxbaLHp
