Four days after signing a new contract with Barnsley, Paul Heckingbottom was appointed as the new manager of Leeds United yesterday.

The Englishman succeeded Thomas Christiansen after Leeds’ horrendous run of form in the new year.

The appointment of the new manager has not just got the Leeds fans enthusiastic again for the season but former players as well it seems.

A favorite with the fans during his time at the club between 2009 & 2012, Max Gradel took to Twitter earlier today to express his love for Leeds and wished the club a promotion back to Premier League under the new manager.
