Leeds United won their first game of 2018 after a hard fought 1-0 win against Brentford yesterday. Liam Cooper scored the only goal of the match as Paul Heckingbottom earned his first 3 points as Leeds United boss.

Though, things took an unexpected turn as Brentford manager Dean Smith was not happy with the length of the grass at Elland Road and complained about the same in his presser post match.

The comment came as a surprise to many, probably including Brentford’s Twitter admins who reckoned the conditions seemed perfect before kick-off.
