Liverpool showed fight in the second half but had to settle for 2-1 loss against bitter rivals Manchester United earlier today.



Loris Karius had a decent outing but perhaps could have done a little better for the second goal. Though, the German showed why Jurgen Klopp prefers him over Simon Mignolet as he ran out of his box to thwart a Manchester United attack near the centre of the field with a thumping sliding tackle.

Despite the loss, Liverpool fans were made up to see the save from their young keeper.

Fellow German Manuel Neuer would have been proud of this bit of sweeping from Karius, check out the moment below –
