Celtic made history after their 2-0 victory over Motherwell in the Scottish Cup final by becoming the first Scottish team to ever complete consecutive domestic trebles.

The Hoops have been almost invincible domestically and recently wrapped up an unbelievable seventh consecutive league title to leave rival teams in their shadow.

With so much progress being made under him, Brenden Rodgers had demanded for a new multi-million pound Desso surface to be laid last year and recent pictures indicate that relaying of the new surface is close to being completed.

While work on the state of the art grass pitch had started last summer, the latest photographs indicate that the second phase of the project has now gotten underway and should be completed soon.
