Celtic FC’s marketing team has once again scored some major points with the fans after coming up with a hilarious dig at bitter rivals Rangers.

It all started when the official Celtic Twitter account noticed how Southampton used the famous Stuart Armstrong chant while unveiling their new signing, asking the Premier League outfit to make a donation to their foundation for using the song.

After the Saints duly obliged, Celtic’s social media team displayed some of their razor sharp wit by tweeting how they respect clubs that pay their “dues”.

The sly dig at the Gers’ liquidation troubles has obviously gone done well with the Hoops support with fans sharing images of the tweets on social media.
