Xherdan Shaqiri kicked off his Liverpool debut in the best possible way one could imagine with one stunner of an overhead kick, scoring a remarkable goal against Manchester United in their International Champions Cup game in Michigan.

Liverpool absolutely destroyed United with a spectacular 4-1 win and Shaqiri stole the show by scoring the final goal for Liverpool with his insane bicycle kick which was a treat for the eyes of any football fan.

Now former Liverpool player Peter Crouch, who knows a thing or two about bicycle kicks and scored a similar stunner against Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League 2006, reacted to Shaqiri’s goal and had some hilarious advice for him on Twitter.

Basing things off his own experience of remaining goalless for months after his debut at Liverpool before finally kicking things off and becoming a heartthrob with the fans, Peter Crouch had some hilarious advice for Shaqiri in his priceless tweet.
