There is a sense of anticipation at Leeds United this season. With Marcelo Bielsa at the helm, expectations are on the rise, with fans dreaming of a much awaited promotion.
And adding to the mood is defender Pontus Jansson, who has been a fan-favorite at Elland Road over the past two seasons and is known to wear his heart on his sleeve.
Though the Swede could not be a part of Biesla’s squad in any of the pre-season friendlies due to a taxing World Cup, he took to Twitter with a rousing message that has left fans bubbling with excitement.
The Leeds hardman tweeted that it is “time to go home” and that he is more motivated than ever; while also indicating that the Whites are targeting promotion!
