(Video) Rangers new boy Umar Sadiq shows off devastating pace during 3-0 Wigan win

Umar Sadiq, the towering striker from Nigeria, made his presence felt on the pitch in his debut match for Rangers by scoring the final goal against Wigan in their pre-season friendly at the Ibrox.

The young striker, who joined the Rangers on a loan from AS Roma, not only impressed the spectators with his goal, but also left them awestruck with the sheer pace at which he covered the field.

Sadiq, who was previously excluded from the Gers squad for the Europa League qualifier clash against Osijek, dazzled on the pitch on Sunday with a promising performance and some serious pace.

Rangers fans evidently were quite impressed with the new signing as a short clip from the match showing Sadiq’s sprinting from the centre to the 6-yard box at blistering speed went viral on Twitter.
