While the Whites’ first team is still being put together by Marcelo Bielsa, it seems like their U23s squad is already off to a flying start with a crushing victory over Tadcaster U23s.

The Leeds U23s squad played a pre-season friendly against Tadcaster Albion at the i2i Stadium and emerged clear winners at the end of 90 minutes with a score line of 6-1.

While there were quite a few moments of brilliance in the match, the one that stood out the most was Alfie McCalmont’s gorgeous bender into the top corner from 25 yards away which gave the Peacocks their 6th goal of the game.

The teenage midfielder who joined the Leeds United Academy at the age of 14 surely seems to be all geared up for the start of the new season with this amazing goal.
