Manchester United didn’t have the greatest of transfer windows this summer. While most of the top English clubs (minus Spurs) moved swiftly to reinforce their cavalry for the new season, United’s manager Jose Mourinho was left frustrated by his club’s inability to sign any of his major targets.
There was no last minute magic too, as Yerry Mina preferred Everton, while Leicester and Tottenham too managed to thwart United’s efforts to sign Harry Maguire and Toby Alderweireld respectively. Suffice to say, Red Devils start the season one step behind rivals and their fans would be a worried lot.
But one club’s misery means a chance for rival fans to gloat and troll. And contributing his bit to the cause is Arsenal’s chief photographer Stuart Macfarlane.
The Gunners’ lensman added to all the United trolling going down on Twitter when he offered his thumbs up to a hilarious tweet taking the mickey out of the club and Mourinho for their transfer troubles.
