Liverpool’s run to the Champions League final last season was accompanied by some new ditties being added to the Anfield songbook.
The newly created “Allez Allez Allez” became a huge hit as Anfield supporters went about serenading their team with it at every step of the journey.
The Merseyside club though, could not get over the line in the final. Unsurprisingly, their loss was a reason to relish for Manchester United fans as they went about trolling their biggest and most hated rivals for their failure.
Former United legend Gary Neville too couldn’t stop himself as he tweaked the lyrics to “Allez Allez Allez”, mocking the Reds’ defeat against Real Madrid.
Neville’s version of the song that became synonymous to Liverpool’s run last year was lapped up by United fans, who were spotted singing the same before their opening game against Leicester City.
