(Video) Massive fail from this West Ham fan after trying to claim superiority over Tottenham on Talksport

After finishing a disappointing 13th last season, West Ham United have quietly gone about their business in the recently concluded transfer window, spending about €90 million to sign a number of high caliber players.

The summer splurge and the appointment of a vastly experienced and successful manager in the form of Manuel Pellegrini has got West Ham fans all charged up and they’re dreaming of big things to come.

But a caller on sports radio station Talksport seemed like he got a bit too excited about their chances when he claimed that their bench is stronger than that of London rivals Tottenham, a club that finished 3rd last season

Now, even with Tottenham not signing a single player during the summer, it was a tall claim to make and the incredulous broadcaster proceeded to put the caller in a spot as he asked him to “name who’s on the bench for West Ham”.

What unfolded was a massive fail for the West Ham fan as he failed to name anyone besides Andy Carroll and then things just got awkwardly funny.

  1. I’m a Spurs supporter and I feel for the guy. I’ve got no idea who is on the West Ham bench but Spurs had Toby, Son, Dembele, Lorente and Vorm pick up splinters – That’s not a bad bench for Spurs.
Add to that No sign of Rose or Trips.
Also Wanyama, Lamela, Winks out injured.

Spurs might not have spent the mega money West Ham has on players but there’s not too many players that would force their way into their bench let alone their team.

    1. For goodness sake, they had that one with the feet that doesn’t drift in and out, that one with hair that sits on his head, that young one without the crutches, the older one with the crutches that sings in the shower, the new one with the teeth that sits behind his lips, the one with the arms that are attached to his shoulders and, of course, the one that passes go without collecting 200 pounds. Spurs had the ones that aren’t superior and weren’t in the starting 11. Simples!
