Rangers made their way back to the top 3 of the Scottish Premier League with a comfortable 2-0 victory over St. Mirren at the Ibrox last night.

Alfredo Morelos and Connor Goldson put the Gers in a dominant position early on in the match, with the two players finding the net in the 14th and 24th minute respectively. The Gers managed to hold on to the lead despite being reduced to ten men in the 31st minute when Ross McCrorie was shown the red card for violent conduct.

The brilliant performance by the Gers was capped off by an outstanding run from new boy Lassana Coulibaly who absolutely embarrassed 4 St. Mirren players before he was stopped in his tracks by a rough tackle which saw the Malian leaving the pitch with an injury.
