The Old Firm rivalry has spilled into the Europa League with Celtic getting knocked out of the Champions League after a disappointing defeat against AEK Athens on Tuesday. With a team that seems to be performing much below their potential, the Bhoys are now gearing up to take on FK Suduva in the Europa League playoffs on Thursday.

Steven Gerrard’s side, on the contrary, are looking in top form this season after the team defeated NK Maribor with a 3-1 aggregate in the third and final qualifying round of the Europa League.

So when BT Sport conducted a poll asking the viewers to vote on the team they think will make it further in the Europa League, it didn’t really come as a surprise when Rangers emerged as the dominant victors with a whopping 64% vote share.

Rangers seem to be the more preferred side among Scottish football fans this year with Steven Gerrard pulling all the right string for the Gers this season.

Check out the result of the poll below –

  1. Rangers could go a very long way in Europe this year, hopefully all the way, they are gaining momentum and the mhanky mob are sliding back the way,ha ha,once that slide starts it’s hard to stop, cmon the gers do it for the fans,W.A.T.P.

  2. This poll is just hope, but there is no doubt the rangers have improved but still a long way behind the champions, but just wait for the bubble to burst anytime soon.
