Celtic provided some much needed relief to their fans after a tough week as the Bhoys defeated Partick Thistle 3-1 in the Scottish Cup thanks to goals from Leigh Griffiths, Moussa Dembele and Tom Rogic.

Hoops’ no.10 Rogic was a constant menace for the home team’s defence and the Australian had a couple of his efforts saved before having the last laugh as he calmly swept the ball past the goalkeeper in the 80th minute.

There was a moment in the match when a Thistle player tried to square up to Rogic and the 25-year-old’s brilliant reaction to it probably sums up Celtic’s superior display, which eventually helped them emerge victorious after the home team had equalized in the 73rd minute at the Firhill Stadium.
