Sol Campbell, the legendary Arsenal defender who won 2 Premier League titles with the club and was part of the ‘The Invincibles’ team that stayed undefeated during the 2003-04 season, had some trouble while pronouncing the name of his former club’s current striker while speaking to the media at a FIFA event held in London.
The 43-year-old was asked to pick the player he liked the most in the current squad under Unai Emery. Campbell thought for a moment before naming or attempting to name Aubameyang as the player whose performances would matter the most this season.
Granted the Gabon international’s name can be a tongue twister but Campbell, unintentionally of course, went on to give it a hilarious twist of his own.
