All clubs have a few players in their squad who are more injury prone than others. Scottish giants Rangers are no exception to this rule, as they too have 3 or 4 players who have spent an awful lot of time on the treatment table recently.
The Gers have had to cope without the likes of Lee Wallace, Graham Dorrans and Jordan Rossiter for considerable parts last season. While Wallace has featured in just one game so far this season, Dorrans and Rossiter haven’t featured at all for the Gers so far.
So, it came as a pleasant surprise when a picture was leaked on social media today showing Wallace, Dorrans and Rossiter all joining the team for training. Lee Wallace in particular has been out since February after the 31-year-old left-back had to go under the knife last season due to a groin problem.
Graham Dorrans and Jordan Rossiter have been sidelined with a knee and calf injury respectively since the end of last season. The return of the pair will certainly boost Steven Gerrard’s options in midfield, and bring in some much needed-competition for places.
Some Rangers fans couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw a picture of all three players in training, with one fan even referring to it as a ‘miracle’.
Here’s how some Rangers fans reacted to the news on social media:
