Traveling United supporters were treated to another nerve-wracking display by their side but the Red Devils ultimately came out on top to finally end Watford’s unbeaten run yesterday.

The 2-1 victory was however far from smooth as the Hornets went agonisingly close to snatch a point late in the game as United sat back and David de Gea produced another top-drawer save after Matic’s sending off.

The warning signs were flashing even before the Serbian was given his marching orders as the home side clearly looked more imposing and United players struggled to keep up on many occasions.

But Romelu Lukaku certainly didn’t turn off and set an example for his mates by tracking back a Hornets player from the halfway line before stopping the move altogether with a sliding tackle as seen in this clip:

The big-striker is also on a fine goal-scoring run in the league with yesterday’s strike taking his tally to 4 and surely would have impressed supporters even more with his work off the ball too.
