Leeds United, lacking a cutting edge in front of goal due to the absence of injured strikers Patrick Bamford and Kemar Roofe, earned a 1-1 draw against rivals Millwall on Saturday after finally finding the equalizer in the 89th minute through Jack Harrison.
Even though Millwall fought hard, a defeat at the Den would have been tough on Marcelo Bielsa’s men, who were superior for large spells but could not find the end product before falling behind in the 55th minute.
While both teams can claim to have had chances to win the match, in the end, both sides will be happy with the draw.
However, much to the exasperation of Leeds fans, their former defender Stephen Warnock thought a little differently while speaking on Quest and commented that “Millwall deserved to win”.
The fans were having none of it and Warnock’s comment was soon proved wrong as they brought out the stats from the game that showed the Whites had more chances on goal, along with seeing more of the ball.
