Tottenham fans have had to contend with the disappointment of their move into the new stadium being delayed. While they were supposed to move into the new 62,000-seater in time for the Liverpool game, it now appears that Spurs fans might have to wait for at least for a few more months, with no official announcement from the club as to when the new opening date will be.

There have even been rumours that Spurs could be forced to play the entirety of the current season at Wembley since the new stadium won’t be finished until the end of the year.

However, a new image doing the rounds on social media indicates that the stadium might be pretty close to completion. The image taken at twilight shows the beautiful stadium in all its majesty and it seems it is all ready for the grass to be laid out.

Check out the image below:

While the delay might be annoying to Tottenham fans, there is no doubt that the stadium is going to be one of the best in Europe when it’s opened. Spurs fans will be hoping they can turn it into the same fortress that White Hart Lane was.
