Arsenal moved closer to the Champions League spots after Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang found the net within the space of 4 minutes to give the Gooners a two-goal cushion over the Toffees early in the second half.
While Everton had to stand by and admire Lacazette’s world-class finish, they were far from happy with Aubameyang’s goal and seemed convinced that the Gabon international was offside when Ramsey’s backheeled pass found it’s way to him.
Everton fans were already riled up after the game at the decision and this clip of the linesman doing what look’s to be a celebratory gesture after waving away the offside call should further add to the controversy.
What do you think after watching this clip of the incident below:
Arsenal score their 2nd which looks offside. Watch this clip, and then watch the asst referee punch the air after he gives it. Odd surely..? #ARSvEVE #SkySports #PremierLeague #referees pic.twitter.com/CXZZwkoE5c
