Arsenal moved closer to the Champions League spots after Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang found the net within the space of 4 minutes to give the Gooners a two-goal cushion over the Toffees early in the second half.

While Everton had to stand by and admire Lacazette’s world-class finish, they were far from happy with Aubameyang’s goal and seemed convinced that the Gabon international was offside when Ramsey’s backheeled pass found it’s way to him.

Everton fans were already riled up after the game at the decision and this clip of the linesman doing what look’s to be a celebratory gesture after waving away the offside call should further add to the controversy.

The clip has already caused quite a stir amongst Everton fans on Twitter with many calling for the introduction of the VAR system in England to further improve the officiating of the game.
