Eden Hazard made his presence felt as Chelsea put a dampener on Liverpool’s impressive start to the season by knocking them out of the Carabao Cup.
The Belgian came off the bench in the second half and after watching Emerson Palmieri cancel out Daniel Sturridge’s opener, went on to produce an absolute stunner of a goal to secure a 2-1 win for the Blues.
The 27-year-old’s spectacular solo effort, which came after he nutmegged two players out wide, prompted ex-Liverpool man Jamie Carragher to hail Hazard as the “best player in the Premier League”.
I love how Carragher wasn't biased or salty after Hazard scored that disgusting solo against his old team & he went on to say he's the best in the prem 💉💉

Carragher’s unbiased reaction was absolutely loved by Chelsea fans, who seem as pleased by the commentator’s words as they were by their star man’s brilliant goal.
