AS Roma dismissed Viktoria Plzen 5-0 at the Stadio Olimpico last night to register their first points of the current Champions League campaign. The atmosphere at Roma’s home ground matched the quality the Italian team displayed on the pitch, with the home support making their voices heard throughout the ninety minutes.

It turns out, one of the songs that the Roma supporters broke into during last night’s match was an anti-Liverpool song. Roma fans have plenty of reasons to hate the Merseysiders, not least the fact that the Reds knocked them out of the Champions League last season.

Additionally, Roma have also become Liverpool’s feeder club in recent years with Mohamed Salah and Alisson Becker both moving to Liverpool from the Italian club.
