With the turf being laid and goal posts erected over the past week, Tottenham appear to be finally moving close towards the long-awaited opening of their new stadium.
It has also been reported that the club are targeting their game against Burnley on December 15th to unveil their sprawling 62,000 seat arena, much to the delight of their supporters.
Moreover, latest pictures doing the round on the internet suggest that the process of mounting the iconic golden cockerel on the roof above the South Stand also seems to have begun, further indicating that Spurs’ much delayed venue is hurtling towards its opening date.
The original cockerel adorned the old White Hart Lane for the first time in 1909 and a larger replica of the same has been specially created to be hoisted at their new home.
