Only 18 years old, Chelsea wonderkid Ethan Ampadu already looks like one of the players to watch out for in the future. While he’s yet to break into Maurizio Sarri’s playing XI, Ampadu has earned rave reviews from Wales boss Ryan Giggs.

The teenager starred for his national team during last month’s UEFA Nations League victory against Republic of Ireland, displaying an authority reminiscent of a much experienced player.

And now with the ongoing international break, the defender-cum-midfielder once again started as Wales took on Spain last night.

Unfortunately, the night did not end well for Ampadu this time as he hobbled off the pitch with an injury after 50 minutes while his team also succumbed to a 4-1 defeat.

Despite being reduced to a cameo appearance, the highly-rated youngster still found time to school Sergio Ramos, perhaps one of the best and certainly among the meanest defenders on the planet.

A thumping tackle by Ampadu left the Spanish captain on the floor and any Chelsea fans watching would have surely loved every moment of it, specially the startled expression on Ramos’ face.
