While no clear date has been announced yet, the unveiling of Tottenham’s new stadium appears be inching closer than ever.
Ever since it was announced in September that the 62,000 seat arena was still not ready to host matches, work has been going on at breakneck speed so that eager fans could watch their team play at home as soon as possible.
With the turf already laid and goalposts erected, the North London club gave further indication that work is well into the closing stages when it started sending out ticket packs to season ticket holders a few days ago.
And now, another major development has taken shape that is sure to excite Spurs fans.
According to a picture doing the rounds on Twitter, marking of the pitch has finally begun and it looks like the ground will be ready for action sooner rather than later.
