Steven Gerrard got his first away win as Rangers manager after surviving a late scare by Hamilton thanks to three goals in the dying moments of the match that sealed the tie 4-1 in their favor.
Even though it was not one of their best performances, Gers fans would be delighted by how the team responded after conceding the equalizer in the 80th minute that threatened to sour the night for the Ibrox side.
Thankfully for them, the two successful penalties slotted in by captain James Tavernier and an injury time effort from Alfredo Morelos ensured the Blues climbed to within 2 points of heated rivals Celtic.
While the positive result would have been cause for much celebration among the fans of the Glasgow club, the award for the warmest of the lot goes to a 20-month-old kid watching the match with his family on TV.
