(Video) How did the officials missed this blatant handball from a Reading player during Leeds United win last night?

Bailey Peacock- Farrell’s penalty save in the dying moments of the game rescued a 1-0 victory for Leeds United against Reading, a result that propelled them to 2nd spot on the table, just a point adrift of leaders Norwich City.

While the hard-fought victory would delight fans of the Elland Road side, the fact that they could have won a penalty of their own moments after Peacock-Farrell’s save might not sit down too well with them.

As footage doing the rounds on Twitter shows, a Reading player went unpunished after committing a blatant handball in his own box—almost like he was playing volleyball—just before the ball could go out of play.

The last time Leeds were awarded a penalty was over 400 days ago, which is a record for any Championship side, and their fans have every right to feel hard done by after the linesman’s failure to award them a spot-kick last night.
