Celtic made it seven successive trophies under manager Brendan Rodgers after grinding out a 1-0 win over Aberdeen in the League Cup final last evening.

While the Dons proved to be worthy finalists, their spirited display wasn’t enough to prevent a third final loss against the Hoops in three years, with Ryan Christie’s first-half stoppage time goal proving to be enough.

And despite Bhoys not playing at their best, they did well to hold on for their first silverware of the season, keeping their dreams of a ‘treble treble’ alive.

The gritty victory prompted wild celebrations amongst the Celtic faithful present inside Hampden Park, with fan-favorite Kieran Tierney leading the celebrations.

The left-back, who’s been one of the most consistent performers for the Hoops in the past few seasons, was brilliantly captured savoring the victory with his arms triumphantly aloft in a photo which might go on to achieve iconic status amongst fans.
