The standard of refereeing in the Scottish League has come under the scanner again after some controversial decisions during matches held over the past weekend.
While some teams seem to believe that officials tend to favor Glasgow giants Rangers and Celtic, fans of both the Old Firm rivals have been at each other’s throats for years about who’s getting favorable treatment.
In the wake of this seemingly perpetual debate, one Hoops fan called in on the radio and even though it was not surprising to hear him accuse referees of bias towards Steven Gerrard’s men, listening to him going absolutely ballistic while revealing he’s even written to football’s governing body FIFA was still quite an experience.
Last caller on @ClydeSSB Celtic fan who wrote to FIFA to complain about the standard of decisions made by Scottish referees and bias towards rangers, even the panel couldnae believe it 😂 a different breed

We’ve got the same question as the radio host, who quipped exasperatedly, “How do you even go about that?”
Meanwhile, the Ibrox side have been hit with five charges by the Scottish Football Association their recent comments criticizing referee Willie Collum.
Nevertheless, check out the Celtic fan’s rant:
