Forgotten man Divock Origi ensured he will be remembered by Liverpool fans forever when he popped up with the winning goal after Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford had bungled a miscued volley by Virgil van Dijk during the Merseyside derby on Sunday.



Having not featured for the Reds in a league game since 2017, the 23-year-old became Jurgen Klopp’s last throw of the dice when he came on for Roberto Firmino in the 84th minute of the match.

While we don’t know if the Kop sensed something then and there, but one supporter on Twitter-perhaps more so out of desperation rather than audaciousness-went on to declare that if the Belgium managed to break the deadlock, he’ll get the player’s name tattooed.

And the Liverpool fan turned out to be a man of his word, getting a cheeky “D1V0CK” tattoo on his knee just a couple of days after Origi’s goal.
