Unai Emery’s decision to employ a 3-4-3 formation in Arsenal’s last couple of league games seems to have greatly benefited Sead Kolasinac.
The 25-year-old appears to quite enjoy playing as wing-back and after churning out a man-of-the-match performance against Bournemouth, he was once again impressive in all aspects of his game during the 4-2 success against North London rivals Tottenham.
The Bosnian Hulk made the left side of the Emirates pitch his own on Sunday, being a constant menace to Spurs’ backline while also tracking back and performing his defensive duties with aplomb.
Even though each one of Emery’s men gave it their all that evening, Kolasinac’s brilliant run in the 93rd minute to win back the ball after getting beaten halfway down the pitch shows just the kind of commitment that fans love.

Just watch Kolasinac in 90+ min against Spurs. This ball recovery is everything I want to see from our players. No quitting, 110% all the time. Bosnian Hulk.pic.twitter.com/bgiWW5hinp
