A rumor doing the rounds on the internet which reveals the date of the first fixture to be played at Tottenham’s newly built stadium might leave their fans itching with excitement.
The sprawling 62,062 seater arena was supposed to have been ready to host matches in September but a series of construction delays put a dampener to that plan.
It’s been quite a frustrating wait for Spurs supporters since then and with the club choosing not to reveal much, they’ve been left to speculate the about the new opening date for themselves.
But in news that will set their hearts racing, a Twitter user- who had previously correctly predicted the date of a test event to be held at the ground- has revealed that the match against Manchester United on 13th January will be the fixture when Spurs fans will finally get to cheer for their team inside the new White Hart Lane.
We are delighted to be able to give 6,000 fans the chance to visit and explore the South Stand and podium areas at #SpursNewStadium during a specially-arranged familiarisation event on Sun Dec 16 (11am – 3pm).

The person has also revealed the dates for the test games to be played at the stadium and fans of the North London club will be hoping his information turns out to be correct this time too.
