Leeds United continued their impressive run of form under Marcelo Bielsa with a come-from-behind 2-1 win over QPR yesterday.

It was the Whites’ fourth successive victory and it keeps them in second spot of the Championship table with 42 points from 21 games, just a point below the summit.

Much of the credit for the Elland Road side’s exploits this season has been awarded to their Argentine manager, who has managed to instill an attacking philosophy along with a steely resolve in the same bunch of players who were struggling to cope last season.

Such has been Bielsa’s impact and so dominating have been Leeds’ performances that the illustrious club’s dream of a much-awaited promotion to the Premier League looks all set to come true after having suffered from heartbreak for more than a decade.

After the success against QPR, the Elland Road faithful would be quite thrilled to hear even Sky Sports pundit Don Goodman singing their team’s praises as he termed them ‘the real deal’ before calling Bielsa’s men ‘automatic promotion contenders’.
