Tottenham Hotspur reminded everyone that they are very much in the title race with an absolutely resounding 6-2 win against Everton and now find themselves only two points behind second placed City.
Even after falling behind just 20 minutes into the game, Spurs showed unbelievable attacking display to brush aside the home team and the result just days before the frantic boxing day fixtures should give Pochettino’s men plenty of confidence to regain even more ground on the likes of Liverpool and City.
Not that they were short of confidence on Sunday though, in fact Spurs were oozing with flair against Marco Silva’s men, who at times were reduced to mere bystanders as the away team went about their business.
The 6th and final Spurs goal is an excellent example of the brilliance that was on display over the weekend as Spurs stopped an Everton attack with ease and brilliantly put together a string of about 40 passes as the move was clinically finished off by Harry Kane for his second of the night.
